Welcome back,
We blinked and now it is April. As the leaves start to change colour and the days start to get colder, we have had a huge increase in clients running workshops. From supervisor skills, giving and receiving feedback, finance for non-finance managers, procurement, contract management and exercising delegations. if you’re interested in working with us on these topics or any others, please feel free to reach out.
Learning helps us navigate an uncertain future and now is a great time to think about how to help you and your team grow and get smarter.
This month our theme is Leadership and Social Influence.
Earlier this year, Danette and Grahame attended an in-person workshop run by The NeuroLeadership Institute around helping people gain insights through learning. The idea behind the workshop was to build habits in leaders so that under pressure they default to helpful behaviours.
What habits would help you under pressure to be the best version of yourself? It could be as simple as taking a few deep breaths or going for a walk before replying to an email that has triggered you.
As leaders we have social influence on those around us. Taking the time to reflect on helpful habits that would support everyone under pressure and then learning how to create this intentionally can make a big difference.
We will be sharing resources on Leadership and Social Influence on our social media channels this month.
Until Next time,
Danette and the Magical Learning Team
